Distance/Speed

- Total Miles: 2865
- Crossing Time: 21 days, four hours (or eight if you take into account time zone changes) - to calibrate: we have heard of two other boats who crossed more or less when we did, taking 26 and 29 days respectively. One of these boats was much shorter that explains a slower speed, but the other was a large catamaran that should have been pretty fast - so we feel like we did pretty well and are proud of Seatern...
- Average Speed: 5.6 knots
- Best 24 Hour Run (midnight to midnight): 152 miles
- Best 24 Hour Average Speed: 6.33 knots

Logistics

- Generator Hours: 140 (we ran the generator 80 times in total, mainly to recharge the batteries and to run the 240 volt appliances - SeaFresh water maker, washing machine/drier, microwave, toaster, batteries for cameras, phones, etc)
- Engine Hours: 19 hours 30 minutes - a bit at the beginning, a bit at the end and about 18 hours chasing Wilfred's wind...
- Fuel Consumed: 90 gallons (out of 130 plus 13 spare)
- Gallons of fresh water manufactured from seawater: 834 gallons !!! (this trip would have been hell without the water maker - no showers, no laundry, no fun...)
- Clothes washes: 22 (plus 33 dries)

Food

- Eggs consumed: 84
- liters of milk consumed: 36
- beer consumed: lost track...
- loaves of bread baked: 5 (one didn't rise at all, one rose a bit and the other three were perfect...)

Other Random

- Rubbers of Bridge: 8 (of which Bob/Matthew won 6, Luis/BNM 2 - which depending on your point of view means that we kicked their butts or that the cards systematically favored us over three weeks - you decide...)
- Flying fish on deck: lost count after the invasion
- phone bill - dread to think...

1) Concluding Thoughts 2) Lots of data 3) Crew Reflections....
